Black Bic Biro

Born and raised in the thriving hotbed of cutting edge music that is the Shetland Islands (mmmh?), Black Bic Biro comprise of three lads - Reuben Quinn (vocals/guitar), Jim Bevington (bass) and John Gair (drums), brought together by a shared love of Jurassic Park.

The young 3 piece first came to prominence when they were hand picked by Franz Ferdinand for a support slot. The release of their limited edition single "Peggy Sue" followed, garnering airplay on Radio 1 and selection as "Unsigned Heroes" on Radio Scotland's Vic Galloway Show.

After a gig in Glasgow last November, the band were inundated by representatives from some of the biggest firms in the music industry.

With the band set to move to greener musical pastures (Glasgow)
while further developing their indie buzz pop sound, Black Bic Biro will (nearly)
be appearing on a transistor radio near you any month now.
